| 6 Tuning Modes |
| You can choose from 6 tuning
modes: Activation cutoff, Max. sensitivity, Position, BGS, 2-step,
and Full-auto. |
| |
| |
Activation cutoff |
This allows tuning without a target for applications
involving a variety of transparent objects. Such
tuning is difficult when using a target. |
| |
Max. sensitivity |
Maximum sensitivity tuning is used if through-scan
or diffuse-scan optical fibers are used without
reflective backgrounds. |
| |
Position |
This mode is used to detect a target position
with high precision. |
| |
BGS |
With BGS or background suppression tuning, the
background is memorized so that any target passing
in front of it can be detected. |
| |
2-step |
This reliably detects differences as minute as
the thickness of a sheet of paper. |
| |
Full-auto |
Full-auto mode allows tuning without having to
stop the line. The operator just presses the switch
once and the rest is accomplished automatically. |
