6 Tuning Modes
You can choose from 6 tuning modes: Activation cutoff, Max. sensitivity, Position, BGS, 2-step, and Full-auto.

Activation cutoff
This allows tuning without a target for applications involving a variety of transparent objects. Such tuning is difficult when using a target.
Max. sensitivity
Maximum sensitivity tuning is used if through-scan or diffuse-scan optical fibers are used without reflective backgrounds.
Position
This mode is used to detect a target position with high precision.
BGS
With BGS or background suppression tuning, the background is memorized so that any target passing in front of it can be detected.
2-step
This reliably detects differences as minute as the thickness of a sheet of paper.
Full-auto
Full-auto mode allows tuning without having to stop the line. The operator just presses the switch once and the rest is accomplished automatically.
