Band and Strip Heaters

MAX2000 band and strip heaters are engineered to provide long life in a variety of applications such as food service equipment, plastics, appliance and medical industries. High watt density capability and reliable terminations result in longer heater life. MAX2000 Mica insulated heaters are Underwriters (UL) #E91597, and Canadian Standards Association (CSA), #LF 66355-1, recognized. Our Technical staff is always available to discuss your requirements.

Construction Features

Inorganic Mica - Uses 100 percent inorganic Mica as insulating material, eliminating potential carbon contaminates found in most Mica binding agents. This allows MAX2000 heaters to operate at higher temperatures and watt densities.

High Torque Post Terminals - Standard post terminals feature unique posi-weld construction, which allows the terminal to be over tightened without damaging or severing the resistance wire post connection.

High temperature Lead Wire - MAX2000 Mica insulated heaters feature 850 degrees F (450 degrees C) lead wire. This higher temperature rating prevents premature failure where the leads are connected to the heater. 250 degrees C lead wire is also available upon request.

MAX2000 heaters can be custom made to fit your applications. Holes, cutouts and custom features are designed and manufactured to your requirements.
