Thanks for stopping by, Yamatake. We’re happy to have you viewing our reviews. Now, we know getting into a new sports or activity can be kind of daunting.
Heck, I was pretty intimidated by the thought of even buying a Jeep way back when, let alone learning how to drive it adventure-style, but I’m so happy I did. Off-roading is a fascinating activity and past-time, which can be shared in a variety of ways:
One of the biggest questions I had when first getting into off-roading and camping was, “Where do you put all of the gear?” Thankfully, through research and understanding more, there are a handful of options for this challenge.
A heavy duty roof rack is the best way to store and adventure with your gear. There are a variety of options out there, but we tend to go for the Front Runner line. They have a bunch of the best racks for the most popular off-roading vehicles. Here’s some more information on those…
Over on the off-road accessories website by Front Runner, they have a list of some of their most popular Slimline II full roof rack kits. Nearly indestructible, these babies are the top of the top when it comes to durability.
A couple of their most popular racks include the Slimline Toyota FJ Cruiser roof rack, and the Front Runner Toyota Tacoma roof cargo solution. They can be a little tricky to install, so you’ll probably want to get the one you order sent to a dealer or distributor close to you.
When I got mine, I called and talked to them over the phone about it. They were very helpful and made the whole ordering process super easy. I got it sent to a store pretty close to the house, who had it installed within an hour.
My brother ended up getting the best Jeep Wrangler roof rack for his JK. Loves the thing. It was pretty challenging to put on (he put it on himself), but once it’s in place, it’s been great, durable, and is pretty easy to strap cargo to.
